Look at What Our Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Classes are Doing in the Makers Lab!

Nature Exploration

We've been exploring nature by going outside, collecting leaves, and creating observation sketches! By using our senses, we are able to learn more about the awesome nature around us!

In the younger grades, it is important to understand how makers think! We've been working on developing good habits in the Maker Lab so that we can take pride in our projects. This includes developing skills in measurement, scientific sketching, and choosing the best materials for our projects!

Animal adaptations are physical (body) or behavioral (how they act) that help animals survive in the wild. Students created a list of animal body parts that they think are really helpful. We've been creating silly drawings of ourselves if we had some of those cool animal adaptations!
