Makers Lab Classes

Welcome to the Makers Lab class pages! This is a place where you can learn more about the topics we cover in class, homework, see photos and projects, and work towards becoming a GOALKEEPER!

Ms. Hynes

Ms. Hynes runs the Makers Lab focused on Sustainability. She is a graduate of Manhattan College and Miami University with a Masters in Biology (focused in Conservation)! 

Ms. Hynes loves exploring new places, doing DIY projects, and learning as much as she can!

3rd Grade

The third grade classes are working on integrating STEAM into the following topics this year: 

- Makers 101

- Energy Conservation

-Sustainable Fashion

-Habitats and Species

4th Grade

The fourth grade classes are working on integrating STEAM into the following topics this year:

- Makers 101

-Natural Resources Today and in the Past

-Water Conservation

-Ecosystem Health

5th Grade

The fifth grade classes are working on integrating STEAM into the following topics this year:

-Makers 101

-Sustainable Development and Citizenship

-Sustainable Fashion

The Green Guardians

The Green Guardians is P.S. 176's Green Team. They are a group of dedicated of students who are working to make our school more sustainable and eco-friendly.
